Transfix

Transfix is a logistics/transportation startup that uses tech to make freight management faster, more effective, and less expensive.

GOAL: Create one verbal brand for two distinct user bases: the drivers who transport cargo (“carriers”), and the logistics professionals who need to ship their freight (“shippers”).

BRANDING: Rachel kicked off with a in-depth knowledge share with the C-suite, a full content audit, independent interviews with logistics professionals to develop user personae, and an analysis of the competition’s approach to language and messaging. Using all this information, Rachel built a strong verbal brand that reflected Transfix’s mission, integrated seamlessly into the visual brand, and spoke directly to both audiences using one unified voice.

UX/UI: Rachel restructured the information architecture, rewrote the site to reflect the new brand, and completed a UX/UI review of the mobile app and web portal to make sure the information flow and microcopy were clear and consistent.

  • UX/UI Content Review for Mobile App and Web Portal

“We loved the simplicity of how the results were presented; it was easy to understand the reasoning behind each choice. We definitely achieved expectations and took it a bit further, and we’re still able to use what has been developed and expand on it.”
